Your Life Your Way started as a Community Interest Company established in 2008 to assist individuals to access personal budgets and benefit from personalised support without the responsibilities for managing the finances and employing staff.
Your Life Your Way was originally funded by a grant from the Department of Health together with a loan from the Social Investment Business Group (previously known as Futurebuilders England).
Your Life Your Way delivered its first hour of care in May 2010 to Jay, who you can read more about in 'Our Stories'.
Your Life Your Way Care is also registered with the Care Quality Commission to deliver personal care in people's own homes. Due to the positive demand for our services Your Life Your Way has grown year on year, and continues to change and develop as an organisation to accommodate this growth. Our model of service delivery is based on the concept of Individual Service Funds affording real choice and control to individuals who would ordinarily not be offered a personal budget due to capacity or inability to be an employer of people, with all the complexities that involves.
In 2013 Tracy Fielding, Managing Director of Your Life Your Way won the Care Innovator Award at the North West Regional Care Awards Final and represented the region at the National Awards, where in June 2015 won the award for 'Putting People First'.
Based in Northwich in Cheshire our 300+ people now deliver services across the whole of the North West of England.
